Captain's meeting starts 15 minutes prior to the tournament and is mandatory. Captains failing to attend the meeting will be refunded their entry fee and not allowed to fish the tournament!

2 fish weigh-ins
In order to protect the excellent fishing on the Potomac River, we practice Catch and Release, therefore all boats MUST have a working livewell or a decoy bag to keep the fish healthy for the weigh in. All livewells and decoy bags will be checked before each tournament starting at the August tournament
All fish must swim away within 15mins of last fish to be weighed. Any fish failing to swim away will be disqualified
If you are back at weigh-in 1 second late you will be DQ!!!
10 rod limit, unlimited anglers allowed on boat
Points will be awarded for each tournament 1st place - 5 points, 2nd place - 4 points, 3rd place - 3 points, 4th place - 2 points, all other participants will be awarded 1 point for fishing the tournament. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named "Angler of the Year" and will receive a plaque and a rod and reel combo (see Tournament dates page for details)
A plaque will also be awarded for the biggest fish weighed in during the tournament season
